The Marriage of Edward Roberge & Loretta Bourassa
24 November 1948
Mr & Mrs Edward Roberge arrive at Mrs. Shaver's home for the reception
after the wedding ceremony which took place at St John the Baptist Church in the little hamlet of St. John, North Dakota. Mom's sister, Luella, who was Mom's bridesmaid, was just 16 and under the care and protection of Mrs Shaver who graciously opened up her beautiful home for the reception. Dad's brother, Eli, was best man.

Wedding guests look on as Mom & Dad cut the wedding cake.
Along with the wedding party, I recognize only Uncle Mitchie.
He's the one with the toothpick in his mouth.  He was uncle to Loretta
and Luella and brother to their mom, Clara Garceau Bourassa.

From Left to Right: Luella, Mom's baby sister - Mom (Loretta) - Dad (Edward)
Eli, Dad's older brother - Virginia, Dad's baby sister
